There is no route to regaining parental rights once they have been legally and voluntarily terminated.
what is going to happen when i give up my right as a father? will i still have to pay child support?
you may still be liable for any back support owed, but once you give up your rights & the child is legally adopted, it's now that persons job to provide for the child, but keep your rights for your child. you may still be liable for any back support owed, but once you give up your rights & the child is legally adopted, it's now that persons job to provide for the child, but keep your rights for your child.
No. There is no requirement for the child to have to "know" the father for him to give up his parental rights.
He essentially give up everything. The child is no longer his legally. He has no responsibilities toward the child and has no visitation rights.
Terminate a child means to give up your rights to this child.
i would like to know what papers do i need to have the father of my child sign to give up all his rights to my child financial and emotional and physical rights
Yes, a father can give up his parental rights but he still have to pay child support.
nope
Yes if it's YOUR child.
Giving up rights does not alter the fact that the child is his. If he gives them up so the child can be adopted, then he may be relieved of the payments.
There are two different factors here. Parental rights are things like visitation and the right to have a say in how the child is raised. You can give those up. Parental responsibilities are things like ensuring that the child is fed, sheltered, and receives adequate medical care. You cannot give those up. So, yes, if you give up your rights to the child, you may still have to pay child support.
no
