Should be located at the engine end of the upper radiator hose On the 2.7 motor the thermostat is located at the engine side of the lower radiator hose…. It's a difficult job to change, the alternator a/c compressor and bracket need to be removed, at least unbolted and moved aside, and they have to be accessed from the passenger side inner fender as well as from under the hood. If you also remove the dipstick be sure to cover the hole so anti freeze can't get into the oilpan. I just unbolted the dipstick and moved it away without pulling it out to avoid that. Upon finishing I also had a problem with air pockets in the system when refilling with anti-freeze, the system must be bled well.
Try ebay. They usually have a variety of used owner's manuals probably for about 10 bucks with cost of manual plus shipping.

If you are looking for a Repair Manual on a 1995-1998 Cirrus/Stratus/Sebring/Avenger/Breeze, AutoZone's web site has it posted (at least most of it). If you are looking …up a specific part, search the site for it then when on the parts page look at the bottom. You will see a link for a repair guide on that specific part. You can also click "view repair guide" after you have chosen your vehicle. The link to the guide will be on the same line as the current vehicle chosen. I am sure they will have other repair guides available. You just have to look. Dolly
There is no transmission dip stick for a manual transmission. You have to get under the car, remove the filler plug, and either look in the hole or stick your finger in to see… how much fluid is in there. WTH? How do you fill it? Whats so hard about having a filler neck? Does anyone know the best way to fill? where is the filler plug?
It is inside the transmission pan on the bottom of thetransmission.

I worked at a library during high school, and we had a lot of auto repair manuals there, not necessarily the ones made by the manufacturers, but the ones made by publishers li…ke Chilton and Motor (different books written for specific makes and models). I'm guessing somewhere around 621, but I could be wrong.
