giraffes can be found many places. one place is the zoo. another is on an African plain or in other parts of Africa. they may be found in Europe or Asia but are not found in North America unless they are in a zoo.
Probably Africa, but if you can afford it or can't go for some reason or don't want to go, many zoo's have them. The Bronx Zoo, Out Of Africa Wildlife Park, and Long Island Game Farm are all highly recommended by me.
You can see a giraffe at most major zoo's and or wildllife preserves specializing in exotic / safari animals. By doing some research you can easily find out where a zoo is located or if there are preserves nearby.
