For a RH drive vehicle at least:
For Bose system amp under passenger seat.
For non Bose equipped amp is under driver's seat.
It is often a fuse gone but the best solution is to link the speaker wires together on the amp's plugs to bypass the (rubbish) 20W amplifier.
