It is located on the top of the air conditioning compressor, facing the front of the vehicle. It will have a plastic cap covering it,there are two caps, one is the high port and the other is the low ,recharge port. Both plastic caps are the same so run your ac for a few minutes with your vehicle running, turn off vehicle and touch the pipes leading to or from the plastic caps, the one that has a cold touch will be the low port, paint that plastic cap any color you wish to make finding the low port easy next time.
The Low side line attaches to the compressor on the driver side of compressor. The charging port faced forward. The high pressure port faces up.
On a '99 suburban, the low pressure a/c port is on top, towards the back of the compressor, and pointed forward. The high pressure port is there also, just behind it and to the left, pointed straight up.
