I just got a '99 300rx with some fuse issues. There are three fuse buses--2 under the hood and one by the left knee of the driver. The trick is that they hid the fuse box behind a pull out ashtray. It's easily removed, and then you can get to the fuse buss there. Good luck

You can find the fuse in the left hand driver kick panel. You will find an access panel that you remove to find the interior fuses. The panel is well marked and the cigarette lighter fuse is a 15 amp fuse.

Pop open the hood. It'll be right next to the battery. It'll have a narrow cover on top of it, you can't miss it. Annoyingly, the owner's manual doesn't say which fuse does what, so don't bother looking for it there.
