Oil pump is going to be inside the oil pan at the bottom of the engine. If your going to replace it, be sure to replace both end gaskets as well as the pan gaskets and don't over torque the bolts back on. Unfortunatly I disagree, with previous answer The oil pump is located in the timing cover and is run off the crank pulley The cover needs to come off then there are 9 t25 screws holding it on THE SUMP OR PICKUP IS LOCATED IN THE OIL PAN AND DOES NOT HAVE TO BE REMOVED TO REPLACE THE PUMP The second answer is true. I just replaced the timing chain and guides in my Saturn. You probably don't need just the pump if you're having problems. He didn't tell you that there's 17 screws holding the timing chain cover on or that you'll have to remove pullys, move the Power Steering pump out of the way for one screw and an remove an engine mount, at the least. Also you'll want to remove the right front tire so you can gain somewhat easier access to that side of the engine.
