This depends where you live, and your budget. If you live near a breeder, great! You won't have to pay for shipping. If not, there might be pet stores that have them. I know Animal Houses usually do. But I really wouldn't recommend pet shops 'cause sometimes they might not take care of the critters right. *Use pet shops as last option!
If you don't have a breeder near you, you might have to have a hedgehog shipped to you. I would recommend Hedgehog Valley (if you live in USA or Canada). But shipping costs are high, 200$ at the least.
Hedgehogs are not things to be bought to wrap up for Christmas, as much as kittens and puppies are not. They are animals that need to be taken care of. If you have researched (make sure you know EVERTHING! I studied for 1 month before I could even consider getting one, and I still had more to learn. Hedgehog care books from the library, websites about hedgie caring, anything and everything, read it!) thoroughly, then you are ready for the responsibility of a hedgie. You can get hedgehogs in some pet stores, but usually those ones are moody and aggressive. I suggest rescuing one. This is easier than it sounds. email or call the Hedgehog Welfare Society and apply for the adoption list. You can also buy from a breeder. Keep in mind hedgehogs cost a lot of money, and so do their accessories (food, wheel, cage, ect.). A total hedgehog bill will be at about $500 (hedgehogs themselves usually go for $150-$250, unless you adopt or save on, which it is about $50) ALSO keep in mind hedgehogs are ILLEGAL in some states. In which case you must have a permit to own one.
Email me with any further questions at for-regi@hotmail.com They don't call me Hedgie Girl for nothing you know! ;)

You'll need to look on hedgehog breeders lists and do general searches for "hedgehog breeder miami". It's highly likely there won't be any reputable breeders in your city and that you'll have to travel a little bit to find a good breeder. There are several reputable breeders in Florida but I don't know of any in Miami.
I have listed a website that has a breeder list for the USA, Canada, and The UK/Europe.
There is no such thing as a "hedgehog store". If you are referring to a pet store, do not buy one from there. They typically do not properly breed or socialize the animals; if they do not breed the animals themselves, then they buy them from a sub-par breeder. No quality breeder would ever sell their animals in such a manner. If you are looking for a BREEDER, you can find a reputable one at the links listed below.
well to be honest i don't know where to find a dog breeder because when i try and look for one i always find them and it turns out to be in Florida Texas or Ohio lol xxxx

Only buy a hedgehog from a knowledgeable and responsible BREEDER. I've included a link to the HBA breeders page. Please don't use the Hedgehog Central page - it hasn't been updated in years and the owners are none-responsive.Never, never buy a hedgehog from a pet store.
