Some states allow banks to charge the cardholder up to $50 when their card is stolen and used. If you go to your bank/call you credit card company they should be able to tell you the steps you need to take to dispute any unauthorized charges. As long as you report you card stolen and file a dispute with your credit card company you should be zero percent liable.
