Who is the greater leader - Robert Mugabe or Barack Obama?

I think most people would agree that Barack Obama is a better leader that Robert Mugabe. By all objective accounts, Mr. Mugabe has become a brutal dictator who forcibly takes property away from his political enemies (and from white farmers), who has driven his country into financial ruin, punished or imprisoned dissenters, and banned freedom of speech and freedom of the press.

Mr. Obama's political enemies and conservative Talk Shows might accuse him of these things, but there is no objective evidence that he is a brutal dictator, nor that he imprisons his enemies, nor that Americans have lost any of the rights guaranteed in the First Amendment. Further, all rhetoric aside, America is still a free country, while Zimbabwe is not. That said, it is always unfair to compare the leaders of two entirely different countries, and especially in this case, since you are comparing one leader of a country that is a democracy where the public is allowed to express its views about the government (the USA), and one leader of a country where there is dire poverty, few civil liberties, and dissent is not allowed (Zimbabwe).
