Well, this question is stated in a funny way. Really, we don't know anything about what Moses did or didn't want. This is what we do know about him:

Moses is a character in the Torah, which is the first five books of the Hebrew Bible, also known as the Old Testament to Christians. He is given credit for taking dictation of these five books while the character of God himself narrated what to write down. Thus, from a biblical perspective, Moses did not write any of The Bible. He simply wrote down what God told him to write down.

As far as the Ten Commandments themselves, God considered them so central and so important that HE wanted to write them down Himself. So the Ten Commandments are the only part of the entire Bible that were written by the actual "finger of God": A fiery flame that etched these ten sayings into tablets of stone that could be read from both the front or the back.
