because alot of people are growing tired/bored with the emo/scene kids. no offense against your boyfriend. I'm sure he is really nice.
Because people tend to judge others when they don't even know them. I know, it's retarded. It's not just emo guys that dress weird. Sorry that people are being stupid. I'm sure he's really nice.
