He doesn't; he has his own, which we know because during his presidential campaigns, he has released public documents indicating what it is, and this was presumably verified by the SSA, IRS and other relevant agencies prior to his election. However, there are a bunch of conspiracy theories based on half truths or, more often, outright lies.

One says that he is using the Social Security Number (SSN) of a dead man who was born in France and died in Hawaii. This one is just an outright lie. The Frenchman's SSN is totally different from Obama's; not only that, but the Frenchman died when Obama was about 20 years old- presumably he would've noticed if his SSN was stolen during that time.

Another says that his number belongs to someone born in Connecticut. This one is partly rooted in truth, but is still probably false.

Until a few years ago, the first three digits of your SSN were based on the mailing address for where you registered your number- it wasn't necessarily where you were born, or where you lived, but where you had your SSN card mailed. This was usually going to be the same as where you were born though. Since about 2011, that scheme has ended, and new SSN's are totally random.

President Obama's SSN indicates an address in Connecticut. That doesn't really make sense since he was born in Hawaii and there's no known connection between his family and Connecticut (his mother was from Kansas, and his father was from Kenya). Obama registered with Social Security when he was 16, which was quite normal until around the mid 1970's, when they started registering people right after birth.

When he registered, Obama lived in Honolulu, and had the zip code 96814. There is a city in Connecticut with the zip code 06814. You can look down at your computer keyboard and see that 9 and 0 are right next to each other, and on the typewriters used back then, this was the same. In all likelihood, it was a simple clerical error.

The lesson here is don't always believe what your friends post on Facebook.
