Hopefully you aren't and I take it as that. She may have been hurt by a former boyfriend and once a trust is broken when it comes to a relationship it hurts the person so deeply that they are always fearful that it will happen again and they will have to go through all that pain again. This also lowers their self confidence when it comes to a loving and trusting relationship. Perhaps take her out for dinner or a movie and buy her a little gift. Something that is hot here in British Columbia, Canada is a silver heart (one half worn by the girlfriend the other worn by the boyfriend.) They aren't too expensive and that may help your situation. It is also wise to learn to communicate and each of you should express how you truly feel and deal with the problem the best you can.

∙ 9y agoIf your girlfriend think's you are cheating, perhaps you are knowingly or unknowingly giving her reasons to think that way. Perhaps she is lacking in confidence or she could be the one that's playing away from home.
** We are both "flirty" by nature but I'm not a cheater! The person she thinks I'm cheatin with is my really good friend & 1. We've been friends for years & have never had sex 2. She (my girlfriend) has only guy friends! I had a problem with this at 1st but in order for us to work I have to trust that they are only friends so I madr myself believe her. It's to the point that it's causin problems because I'm not cheatin & I'm not lyin & yes now it offends me that she doesn't believe me & doesn't trust me!! So now she's throwin the " why are u gettin so defensive if it's not true" at me! Well cuz it's not happenin & it's gettin old!! Anytime I go to my friends to help her or whatever I practically beg my girlfriend to go but she won't. I turned my back on my friend for 1 woman & I regret doin my true friend that way so I refuse to do it again!! She really has no reason to be insecure about us cuz I always envite her to anything & everything I do. I always compliment her " I actually call her gorgeous instead of her real name" & honestly I don't have time for another woman & she knows this. So I guess that can mean only 1 thing....... It's her conscience makin her this way?!?! Right?!!
