you may have a problem with the fuel injectors i hade the same problem and it was the injectors so have some on check them

Or it could be your fuel pump. The wiring on top overheats and causes it to shut down the car. It was never a problem 'til I was at half a tank or less. Chrysler takes no responsibility and the Feds are not going to do anything until there is an accident. There is also a recall on certain replacement fuel pumps (which I found out about when they put a recalled replacement in for my repair).
