You need a new battery. The same exact problem just happened to me in my 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The computer in the vehicle wont let it run unless it is getting a high amount of voltage from the battery. When you replace the battery, the problem should be fixed.
if it has a carburetor it is normal
First thing to check / replace is the fuel filter. Next suspect is going to be the fuel pump, and if it is generating sufficient fuel line pressure.
If vehicle has a carb. (not fuel injected) a normal condition. When you step on the gas pedal the automatic choke is forced to close allowing a richer fuel mixture so the vehicle will start .
check the spark plug ... do not start it by bushing the fuel pedal . just start it by doing nothing els ...
Um, dude, it's not supposed to start unless it's fully in park. That's a safety feature.
IT wont start cause on most cars when you press the pedal down the injectors will not spray out any more fuel that's why if your car is flooded people say to push the pedal to the floor
Start with replacing the fuel filter.
tps throttle position sensor
because all vehicles have an idle. Without an idle your car would not stay running.
The manual transmission has a starter interlock which prevents the engine from cranking unless the clutch pedal is depressed
The break pedal will be hard to push are when you push the brake pedal all the way down the engine will start running rough are you may even here air sucking / Vaccum leak.
lack of fuel
