my Dodge does it to its probably the linkage you have to drop the shifter just past the r then move it back up
It's a matter of replacing the reverse position swith in the transmission. This switch tells the computer wheter it's in neutral, or reverse and when in reverse it triggers the reverse lights.
The reverse lights are not adjustable.

The 2002 Dodge Ram reverse light relay switch is located beneath the drivers side dashboard. The reverse light relay switch will be on the left-hand side of the brake pedal.
probably a vacuum system leak. Older dodge trucks had the front transaxle engage by a vacuum line. Make sure your pump is working, and that there are no leaks. Then it should engage
I would look on the transmission by the gear shift linkage.
Low fluid level.
Cranckshaft position sensor needs replaced!

I would start by checking vacuum lines
Remove the wiring harness from the back of your 1995 Dodge Ram horn. Remove the horn retaining bolts. Reverse the process to install the new horn.
