In many states it is illegal because of the danger of fire.
Battery? / Alternator? It's bad gas?
because the gas cap is bad, it will not build pressure in the tank, nothing major, but will cause an annoying light.
Sometimes when the gas cap goes bad it will cause pressure in the tank, also you need a little bit of pressure in the tank,or the car wont run correctly, like if you leave the gas cap off after filling up with gas.
go check your gas cap and make sure it is on tight. Anytime you get a check engine light on after fueling, this normally means you didn't get the gas cap on. Make sure you click it the required number of times if that is how yours works. Also, if you leave the engine running while filling up you are going to get a service engine soon light on. Disconnect the battery and leave it disconnected for a couple hours to clear the computer, then hook the battery back up and the service engine light will be off. If it comes back on take it into Auto Zone, they will read the trouble code for free and tell you what triggered it.
When you are parked or in neutral while the car idles, your engine will shake. The vehicle will also get poor gas milage. Bad gas can also cause engine failure.
Engine choke and make noise if the Engine Oil is low. of if you got bad gas...
sometimes. their engine uses gas
If you mean service engine light, then take off the gas cap and put it back on correctly. The fuel system is pressurized, if the cap is not on tight the check engine light will come on. At least three clicks.
um....... ya
Probably a bad rod bearing
It's a big engine, it's bound to use a lot of gas.
In a Manual, your car can stall at red lights because the engine is not receiving gas, this is why the klutch is important. In Hybrids the engine intentionally shuts off to preserve gas. Then an electric motor starts the car moving when you accelerate again, filling the time gap between when you press the accelerator and the gas engine kicks in.
