A minority group is a distinct marginalized and sanitized section of a community within a social group in society discriminated by number and socio-economic disparity since the Vedic age ingrained in the psyche of the society by the dominance of the superior class and caste in the Vernasystem of social hierarchy that has passed down trough generation despite the constitutional guarantee of socio-economic justice and freedom. The definition of minority today has a broader framework and is not limited to the number and the cultural and social backwardness of a community alone but includes other religious groups in number compared to the dominant religious group in majority in a secular setup.

Although the constitution laid down a time frame to bring equality and social justice to the marginalised minority, it has failed miserably and set off conflicts within the different religious communities and the backward social community who find it an expediency , more predominantly by the political expediency of unctuous politicians out to appease these groups to secure votes by self advancements rather than advancement and progress of the people and the nation. In a nation of political ignorance and indifference the socio-cultural backwardness has become the majority political force capitalised by the ruthless politicians seeking power and money through ill gotten means.
