The Jews/Hebrews have rights to Israel because the British gave it to them after World War 2 and have the military power to hold onto that land. It belongs to them because it was gifted to them and they had the strength to keep it for themselves.

Answer:One of the recurring topics of the Torah is how God granted the land of Israel, then known as Canaan, to the Israelites (Genesis 26:3, 28:13, 35:12; Exodus 3:8; Deuteronomy 1:6-8).
