Yes he was deported from Saudi Arabia because he started his own Jammat in Masjid Nabwi, They put Stamp of ( Mushrik ) in his Passport and banned him from entering in Saudi Arabia in the future.
He was banned because he is not wahaabi. Saudi Govt. and system runners in the country mostly are from this divergent school of thought.
Owais Qadri belongs to old school of thought, the one that Turk rulers in Ottomon Empire believed in. Since today's Arab rulers of Saudia conpired against this centuries old empire that's why they are specially against this religious thought which is proven and dates back to old times.
Very unfortunately, the Naat Khawan of today utter such verses which are contrary to the teachings of Holy Qur'an and Sunna. They attribute such qualities to The Holy Prophet (SAW) which are suitable only to Almighty Allah. Our beloved Prophet (SAW) himself forbade to do so. He told us to worship Almighty Allah, not the Prophet (SAW). Labelling the true followers of Islam as 'Wahabis' etc is no service to Islam. Most of the Arabs follow Imam Ahmad bin Humbal RA. They offer 2o Trawiees in the Ka'abah and the Masjid i Nabvi. The Wahabis offer only 8.
