If fuel pump and filter does not fix the problem, it could be the MAP Sensor, the PCM module, the cable going to the PCM that is the closest to the driver or the torx screws holding the cover on the PCM being to long and shorting out.
Because of your cool exhaust system
probably cam positionong sensor.
I had that problem with my 98 Jeep Cherokee Sport, they ckd all kinds of things and finally replaced the fuel pump and then it was fine.
i have a 99 Cherokee sport, had the same problem, found it to be a sensor that lets the tranny know how fast the motors spinning vise versa. replace didnt have a problem since. also u might find that the car will want to shutdown while driving i have always had it start right back up. anyways that's what i experienced an hopefully it was helpful
My 1995 sometimes doesn't start for several days in a row. Consider yourself lucky!
sometimes it depends of the type of sport or club
AnswerIts most likely to be the Crank Position Sensor (CPS) failing.
probably have a bad crank sensor, so the computer isn't being told when to fire the plugs
It may not be the problem but the same thing happened to my 95 Sport. The ignition switch at the steering wheel column is going out. We were able to turn engine over and bearly feather the key back but not off and engine would run. Hope this help.
Check the crank angle sensor usually about $150 to replace
Check your positive battery cablefor corrosion or a loose connection. If that's ok then you have a bad starter solenoid.
Not as long as the trailer doesn't exceed the towing weight limit of the tow vehicle and that the transmission is healthy to start with.
