She could just have an itchy back like humans can get. The best thing to do is take a look. Take a brush or comb and brush hair in the opposite direction. If you see dandruff then your dogs skin is very dry and the best thing you can do is bath your dog with an oatmeal based dog shampoo (use it on my own dogs.) It could also be flea season in your area and I was quite surprised when my vet told me (I live in British Columbia, Canada) that fleas have a high resistance now and can strike pets at any time of the year ... even in the cold months of the year. If your dog is still scratching (they should be brushed every day) then take her to the vets as she may have a form of dermatitis. I have a Bishon Frise' that can have ear problems (inflamed) and I smell them every day to be sure there is no odor. I clean her ears with a herbal liquid solution every week and I also check all my pets (on all parts of the body) for lumps or bumps once a week.
fleas. fleas fleas fleas. your dog has probably determined that the claws on its rear legs aren't sharp enough, and has thus resolved to use its teeth to scratch the bites. I recently had an allergey testing, and i found it difficult (before cream was applied) to resist the urge to chew my own back, because it itched so much.
If your cat is young she is just nipping herself because she is happy you are petting her, however, is she biting herself in a hard nasty manner, this could be an underlying condition, it would not hurt to have a talk with your vet about this habit.
Because something is bothering her (itches or hurts) and she can't reach it. Check for fleas, rashes, irritation, etc.
If your dog or puppy is biting its back every hour its okay, but if its biting it constantly then it probably means he has fleas or some kind of bu.g, in that case bring him or her to the vet
because dog,s back legs are in z deisgn .which are easily bended and easily move with speedy
They often have an "itch" caused by a flea or tick bite or even a snag from a twig.
Its the dogs spine.
A dog trots by means of propulsion with its four legs. Usually dogs walk with three legs on the ground at a time; dogs have two legs on the ground to save time while leaping.
All dogs have dew claws on their front legs (unless they are removed) and some dogs may also have them on their back legs. This is not affected by gender.
Yes.
It could be their way of letting the owner or friendly human know that it feels good that or they believe that they are scratching themselves and mimic the movement.

Dogs have approximately 320 bones and three types of muscles. To move, a dog uses its striped skeletal muscles. These muscles make movement of the skeleton, skin and certain organs possible.
Dogs have 4 legs.
in a way. the back legs support the horse and boost him off the ground to run. So yes. If the horse did not have back legs he would not be able to run.
Because all together their is for legs.Like dogs for example.Their front legs are like arms and the back legs are...legs
They thump their back legs on the ground and grunt and squeal.
A cat uses its hind legs to scratch.
