Why would your 1995 Buick Regal jerk the entire time you are driving as if you are accelerating and decelerating at the same time?

my 1995 Buick regal is starting to do it too but mainly when going uphill or accelerating hope someone answeers soon
AnswerI am not sure if this is the same problem, but my 95 regal had what I would call a "surging" or stuttering problem...This was supposedly caused by a spark plug wire shorting out at the boot thus causing a missfire... AnswerMy 1995 Buick Regal was doing this. Mine was a transmission problem. I didn't need a whole new transmission, but I did need to replace the lines because they were leaking fluid. You should definitely get it checked out. AnswerJust had my 2002 into a Transmission shop. The brake switch needed adjusting. I had no check engine light. You might want to get the brake switch checked.Check the map sensor. Mine was doing that, and after having trans check and several parts replaced on it, it ended up being the map sensor
