Yes, if it is from the same family of motor(head bolt spacing/head gaskets/bore spacing/etc.). but the compression ratio will more than likely go up. Also the turbo head might(should) have large cooling passages, so might have detonation issues. Need to check manifolds, sensorsto see if they would work.
yes. both engines are the 4g63. the turbo engines from the 1990-1994 is a 6 bolt 4g63 and the turbo engine from the 1995-1999 is a 7 bolt 4g63.
a 1990 7.3 l engine does not come standard with a turbo. you can add an aftermarket turbo if you want ,the turbo 7.3l engines came out in 1993 and the powerstroke came out in 1994
