Yes, there is no difference in block size between a 2 or a 4 bolt bolt 350 in '83, although depending what was in the car before, say a 6, you may have some engine mounting, trans issues, cooling, bracketing, and of course exhaust, hopefully the "2" bolt is a carburetor engine, and of the earlier 8 cylinder design, not a newer generation engine, or your looking at allot more issues.

Yes
No, after 1987 the Caprice switched from the 5x 4.75" to the 5x5"
Chevy didn't offer a 350 in an 86 Camaro, but if they did, it would theoretically work in an 87 Caprice.
There is not a 350 engine known as a "big block". If the caprice and the truck are the same year it should fit perfectly.
Yes. Its a direct bolt in.
It will go right in there no problem.
What is the engine in the Caprice? In the Suburban? If they are a 305/350 then they can be interchanged. I have a 1985 Caprice Classic with a 305 and the tranny came out of a 1987 Suburban. It depends on the engine.
YES
Yes, They will bolt right up.
Yes. Direct bolt in.
Chevy, Buick and Cadillac shared the same bolt pattern as did Oldsmobile and Pontiac but, some transmissions had two bolt patterns to fit all GM blocks. If your Chevy Turbo 350 transmission has the dual pattern it will fit the Oldsmobile engine, if not it won't fit.
