no! use only motorcycle oil. automotive oil will not protect the clutch on a motorcycle and synthetic oils for cars are not designed to protect the clutch either.
I miss my old Intruder 1400 ... Great bike! The "transmission fluid" on a Suzuki Intruder is the normal engine oil, just as it is on most manual transmission vehicles. It uses the same oil from the crankcase reservoir, so every time you change your oil, you are also changing the transmission fluid. Just a quick money saving tip on changing your oil on this bike: you don't need to buy the expensive motorcycle oil filter. There is a standard automobile oil filter that will fit the threading and gasket of the Intruder. Since the automotive filter has a larger volume of filtration, it will actually work better than the more expensive OEM filter on the Suzuki.

You know there are allot of oil filters for a Honda motorcycle. If you would like to know which would fit yours, then perhaps you should have given the Model. Short of that follow the link. Hope This Helps

I have a 1986 Suzuki 700 Intruder and a Fram PH6018 oil fliter does not fit it ... This filter has a 24mm fine thread mount and mine is closer to 18mm fine thread
Series 3 BMW car filter will fit your bike. I use them in my K100RT. Don't buy genuine, after market ones will do. Ride Safe.

you unscrew the top of the bi round air box on top of the engine then you undo the clips. should be four. then you take it off.. take out the air filter and so on :)
I seriously doubt it. A quick search revealed that that is the number of a filter that fits a Harley-Davidson motorcycle. Go to your local auto parts store and check their cross reference guide in the filter section.
