Yes. They will not look "bad" by any means, but it won't look fantastc either. It mostly depends on your service provider. Time warner is the worst picture quality out there. then comes comcast. Then the top of the line stuff, for cable anyway, is Verizon Fios.

Does this just plug in an outlet?

You can plug the air conditioner into any outlet in your home, however you should get an outlet strip to protect against power surges. Yes, this HDTV plugs into a normal electrical outlet or power strip.

How many amps in 180 watts?

It depends on exactly what you are talking about.Something that is described as "X" watts is really just a resistor of a fixed size that, when connected to the proper voltage supply, will produce "X" watts of energy (light, heat, sound, etc.)So, if you have something that is declared as 1800W and is supposed to be connected to 120V, then you have a resistor that is of size:120V*120V/1800W = 8 OhmWhen plugged into the proper 120V source, you will pull120V/8Ohm = 15 AmpsIf you have something that is declared as 1800W but is supposed to be connected to a 240V supply, then you have a resistor that is of size:240V*240V/1800W = 32 OhmWhen plugged into the proper 240V source, you will pull240V/32Ohm = 7.5 AmpsSo, even though both of these things were called "1800W", the key factor is what voltage they are supposed to be driven by in order to get that 1800W. These items are not interchangeable. The 32 Ohm device will not produce 1800W on a 120V source. It will produce only 450W and pull only 3.75 Amps. The 8 Ohm device will not produce 1800W on a 240V source. It will produce 7200W and will pull 30 Amps.

What is total memory of brain?

According to the Stephen Hawking, a human brain can store the memory of 10,000 Oxford dictionary in a year. But generally people don't use all the memory that they have for the knowledge gaining. Even Eienstene was used only 10% of the brain for that knowledge and for research.

Does the transformer convert the current from 240 volt to 120 volt?

for USA, Canada and countries running a 60 Hertz supply service. The question asks "Can you convert an existing 240V plug to a 120V plug.?" ,Missing is the purpose of the 240V plug. Is it a Euro Hair Dryer, or a Stove Plug for a 2000W oven? A1: IF it is for a Universal Power supply for electronic equipment, YES it can, as long as the equipment can work with 120V and less than 12 Amps of current. (12 Amps is 80% of a 15 Amp Circuit-That is the Limit of Power through the Wiring). If you need more power (Tim Allen from Tool-Time comes to mind,) then you need to contact an electrician to string new wiring to the outlet.A2: IF it is for a specific piece of equipment that needs 240V to run, (Stove, Dryer, Welder), then NO, you cannot 'convert' the existing 240V plug.A3: IF it is for a 'Euro' appliance (Less than 1000 Watts power), IF the frequency of the motor is for 50 Hz, NO, as the speed rating depends on that frequency.A4: If its for a HDTV or similar appliance, NO, as the appliance is made to work in those countries where the 240 plug works. Adapers are available for the power supply, but for Region DVD players, it will not change the region you are in.A5: IF it is for an incandescent light fixture, YES, the plug can be converted, as long as the current to the lamp does not exceed the wiring. Typical lamps in North America are designed for 60W lamps, They consume 60W of power when operating, at 120 Volts, and have 1/2 ampere of current in them. 18 Gauge AWG wiring is used for lamp cord as a minimum to handle the current. IF its a EURO lamp, designed for 60W bulbs, at 240V, it will only handle 1/4 Ampere current, and USING a 60W light bulb is TWICE as much as it is designed for. IT would work at 30, but IT IS NOT RATED for 120V service. If your house burned down, the insurance would not cover the fire because the lamp is unapproved for use in North America.5 different scenarios, 2 will work, 3 will not. Generally you would plug the correct appliance in the correct socket in the correct country of purchase.Do this electrical work only if you feel confident that you can do it safely. If not then this is the procedure that an electrician would use and you would be able to follow what he is doing. Again an electrician should be your first choice. This answer assumes that the old receptacle was 15 or 20 amps and the new receptacle will be 15 amps. If you consider doing this the first thing is SHUT THE MAIN BREAKER OFF. Use an auxiliary light source to see when working in a dead panel. Always keep in mind an ARC FLASH ACROSS HOT MAINS HAS ENOUGH HEAT TO PEAL THE SKIN OFF OF YOU. Before an explanation of how to do this you should keep in mind that this is for a single receptacle only. If any other receptacles are on the same circuit they will also be changed to 120 volts. That said OK, any 240 volt outlet can be changed to 120 volt by removing the white wire from the 2 pole breaker and inserting it into the neutral bus bar. Remove the other wire (probably black) from the breaker. Remove the 2 pole breaker from the breaker panel. Install two single pole 15 amp breakers into the hole left by the 2 pole breaker. Leave both of these breakers turned off. Connect the black wire that came off of the 2 pole breaker on to one of the new single pole 15 amp breaker. Re install the cover to the electrical panel, this end is finished. Remove the existing 240 volt receptacle and install the new 120 volt receptacle. Materials can be purchased at local building supply store. Remember to take the electrical panel data with you so you have the information for the 2 new breakers. Once you have the receptacle installed, identify on the electrical panel door what the breaker is used for. Leave the unused breaker in the off position. Turn the main breaker back on. Test the new receptacle with a lamp to make sure every thing is OK.yes, you have two hot lines in a 240 outlet (!!!in North America!!!), disconnect one of them from the breaker box change breaker to a single throw and wire in new outletIt may not be as simple as above. Is the old wire heavy enough for the new circuit? You cannot increase the current rating above that of the old circuit, but you can decrease it safely. How many wires are there? If there are 4, you will have an unused hot. If there are 3 you need to switch one hot to be neutral to your new outlet.Anyways, you need to:Get a new outlet you wish to install (based on wire size)Get a new breaker correctly sized to the outlet. !!!Get a new breaker correctly sized to the CONDUCTOR!!! A breaker protects the conductor, not the outlet. Although the two go hand in hand, a rule of thumb is to size the breaker based on the wire, or vice-versa(load). (eg, (CEC) #14=15A, #12=20A, #10=30A)Remove the old breaker. Wire the black hot wire to your new breaker. If the other hot was a red wire and there is a neutral(3-wire), cap the red wire with a wire nut. If there is no neutral the old, unused hot needs to be connected to the neutral bus. (If for some reason you don't have a white wire (like you have a red-sheathed run of heat-ex) wrap the new neutral with white tape (and only really do this if the wire is larger than #6). If for some really strange reason you have two black wires STOP. You won't be able to tell which is which at the other end and need to pull new wire. or hire an electrician to meter it out) If you have an old neutral wire check that it is tightly connected to the neutral bus. Now the circuit is wired in the panel for 110V. Leave it off for now.Replace the old 220V outlet with the new 110V outlet. If you had to mark wires with tape in the panel do the same here.Smoke test! Turn on the breaker and see if it works. If it does, good job. If it doesn't, turn the breaker off and test your work.

Why won't your PS3 display full 1080p?

you need a HDMI cable and 1080P media like a Blue ray disc and a HDTV with 10080P capabilities before you will receive full 1080P. For example most HD TV programing is only 720P and will not be in full 1080P on a 1080P HDTV and a TV show in 480i standard will be in 480i on a 1080P HDTV

Could your ps3 work without a HDTV?

Yes the cable for the A/V connection that comes with a PS3 is for a standard TV. In order for your HDTV to get an HD connection from your PS3 you must purchase an optional A/V cable (HDMI or PS3 Component). The HDTV will still be able to provide you will a standard 480i picture using the A/V cables that come with the PS3 for your connection

How do you plug in AV cable for ps3 slim?

The cable that comes with the PS3 is designed with standard RCA A/V connection. The TV side has Two plugs for audio input and the one for video input and they are color coded. The HDMI style plug goes into the PlayStation 3. There are other optional plugs for HDTVs and also a HDMI to HDMI plug for the easiest connection on HDTVs. The standard plug that is sold with the PS3 only allows 480I standard TV and is not for an HDTV connection, but will work to provide standard 480I reception on your HDTV until you purchase an HD Cable

How do you get 1080p for PS2?

It is beyond the systems capability and you connect to the 1080 P HDTV with a Standard 480i input.

What leads do you need for your ps3?

How does Ethernet cable work?

The ethernet helps you surf the internet faster

What if you have a tv with ps3 do you need a HDMI?

If your TV is an HDTV with HDMI connection it is foolish not to spend the money to purchase and use the cable. The cheapest games are more than the cost of the cable and you would get much more from the system. It is what the PS3 was designed and the games it plays was designed for. The prices for HDTVs are low and you will be able to tell the difference if you upgrade your TV, but when you already have an HDTV you really need to add the HDMI cable. Of course a HDMI plug is for HDTVS and not Standard 480i TVs and the standard A/V cable that comes with a PS3 will work with the HDTV, just not with the same results.

How do you hook up your ps3 with out an internet connection?

Plug it into your TV with the cable that came with it or if you have a HDTV buy a HDMI cable and plug that into your HDTV and PS3.. Plug the power in and turn it on. You should see it on your TV screen and if not turn your TV to the same input you plugged the PS3 into. Owners of the 720P HDTVs or those without HDMI can buy PS3 component cables with 5 color coded connections that use RCA plugs for the HDTV inputs. Both the HDTV 1080p and 720 HDTV owners can connect with the A/V cable that came with the PS3, but then it will be standard 480i from your PS3

When you push the recall button your HDTV shows 480i not 720p or 1080i is this HD programming?

480i is the standard television picture resolution and it isn't an HD signal. Your TV is telling you what it's reading from the signal. You may be able to change it, but then again, it could just be a 480i signal for that particular program. Just because you have HD cable or are getting HD off the air, not every program will be in high definition.

What is the standard cable broadcast quality?

Much lower than HDTV.

Can the ps3 play 3 d movies and games without buying anything else?

No because even though it can do it's part if it has the latest PS3 updates you need a 3D HDTV to get the 3D picture and it must be connected to the 3D HDTV with a HDMI cable and not the A/V cable that came with the PS3 for Standard 480i TV. Most 3D HDTVs also require that you buy and wear special glasses
