I certainly hope it will , and think it will. Firstly, I think Vets will have greater access to diagnosis and therapy. With a firm diagnosis, your chances of an increased disability rating are much improved. There will also be access for therapy in remote areas. Here in Montana, all separated personnel must go to Helena from all over the State . Soon there will be therapists that will travel to outlying communities on a regular basis Please consider joining a VFW Post. They can help with contacts, and are our lobby to Congress , and some have retired AG lawyers who will advise you.
1. NOT hiring them when the employer noticed the Vietnam service indicated on the job application. 2. Firing them when they found out they were Viet vets. (A new federal law was passed on or about 1974-1976 protecting Viet vets from discrimination). 3. Flipping vets the finger when ever they saw the "uniform." 4. Spitting in the vets direction, whenever they saw the "uniform."
Yes, Viet Vets were discriminated against...even by WWII veterans; in fact Vietnam veterans were discouraged (if not flat out barred) from joining American Veterans Organizations. All of this changed on or about 1974 (mid 70's) when the US Government passed a non-discrimination law protecting Vietnam Veterans.

A federal anti-discrimination law protecting Viet War vets was passed in the mid 70's. Funny. in the mid 70's these guys were spat on, hated by the people of the united states. Turned to the streets, still lots of Vietnam Vets are homeless. Very sad, they were doing what they were ORDERED to do, and in turn, got spat on when they got home. No welcome home comings. mostly. They JUST recently, added Agent Orange to the list of of a small list of things the Vietnam Vets are disabled for. What I don't understand is the difference between any war. They are all wars. However (no disrespect) 9/11, for some reason are treated differently than WW1 WWII Vietnam, etc. I don't understand this logic.
Discrimination against US Viet War Veterans was widespread. The best source would be looking at the US Anti-discrimination law that was passed in about 1974 that specifically protected Vietnam veterans from discrimination. Federal laws are passed for a reason. If Viet Vets weren't discriminated against; there would not have been a reason for passing such a law.
The US entered because they signed a document saying that the will help with a war with communism.
obey the law

Vietnam was a war against the nation of NORTH Vietnam and communism. Iraq is the restoration of law and order; and stability to the country.
Everyone in Michigan is required by law to be a vet, otherwise their ears are eaten by their mothers.

Well in my opinion, prisoners gave up their rights when they took someone else's away. What happened to the inmates' victims rights? Prisoners are treated better then Vietnam vets that have to live on the streets. Who cares about the rights of prisoners, they shouldn't have any. Why should the law work to help the prisoners always?
