yes, it would bolt up to both 302 and 351 . the 351 doesnt put out that much more turqe than 300-6 ,so it would hold up . another thing if you are going from atomatic to standard you must install a pilot bushing in the motor
mine had a 350 turbo- hydromatic
On the passenger side of the automatic transmission ( I believe it's behind a heat shield )
the speed sensor should be located on the transfer case where the speedometer would go . there are several speed sensors on cars one at each wheel for the ABS system but a quick call to the dealer will probably help . on my 93 the speedometer sensor is located on the third member of the rear end.
You would have to have a coupler made to connect one crankshaft to the other. Then you would have to find out at what degrees the crankshafts should be for a smooth operation. Of course, they would still have separate ignition and fuel systems. You would also have to make sure that engine #2 (whose crank shaft connects to the transmission but sits behind engine #1) is able to handle the torque output of both engines combined.
If it has a manual transmission, you simply put it into neutral. If it has an automatic transmission, you would need to remove the driveshaft during towing.
If you use inline graphics, you may want to adjust the vertical position.

Transmission in Park, Transfer case in neutral.
I believe the filter is internal, so that would require the tranny to be taken out and taken apart. I have a '97 626 LX, I just added an inline filter ($14 - $25).
on the 4.0 jeep, if it cranks, but wont start, try replacing the crank sensor, located at the top rear of the engine, at the transmission
It seems that you have an inline filter and it looks something like [http://www.wixfilters.com/filterlookup/PartDetail.asp?Part=58953 This] http://www.wixfilters.com/filterlookup/PartDetail.asp?Part=58953 Look around the transmission. It should be to hard to find. Hope this helps.
It would have either a 2.0l sohc or a 2.0l dohc. Both are inline four cylinders. It would have either a 2.0l sohc or a 2.0l dohc. Both are inline four cylinders.
