There's no way to determine if the relationship will last or not. Long distance relationships, especially if they're still in the online stage, are notoriously difficult to maintain. What is keeping you two from meeting with each other currently? Take it slow; online relationships need even more time than real life ones to develop. It's a bad sign if you're already rushing to a commitment with someone you don't even know in real life.
Often an online attraction and chemistry will fizzle out upon a real life meeting; both people may have been honest and had good motives but the physical chemistry that is important may simply not be present in real life. You can only see someone's mannerisms, body language and the way they deal with real life distractions and interactions in a real life meeting, not online or over the phone.
