Call the hospital now! If they are constantly 5 minutes apart you need to get there ASAP! Even if it's false labor it's still hard false labor--and they will either want to go ahead and let you have the baby or they will try stopping your contrations. It's not a good idea to drink castor oil at 36 weeks because your due date could have been slightly off by a week or two, as not all babies develop the same in the womb. But since the deed is done, call now! Don't even read this! Get off of the computer and call! :) Now!!
No, castor oil is a laxative and could make things worse. You need to discuss this with your doctor.
You need to be in the hospital
Call the doctor, like now
I am a 36 mother of 4 i think i am pregnant i last saw my periods last month at the beginning of the month so can i drink castor trouble bring it down Answer Castor oil in a limited dose will help with constipation, not anything else. Take a pregnancy test and visit your doctor if you are pregnant.
It's unusual - if you have any concerns - see your doctor or midwife as soon as possible !
Call your doctor.
when you start feeling pelvic pressure and your contractions are that regular, that usually means that you're in true labor and you need to call your doctor to let him know and he will tell you what to do from there. hope this answer helped, good luck and congratulations!!!
Call your doctor. I consider this a emergency question and those should not be asked on WA.
Have you spoken to your doctor, obstetrician or midwife about this yet? If not, I really advice phoning them or going to the hospital because your contractions are pretty close together. It is possible that these could still be Braxton Hicks contractions. But they could be the start of labour. It's important to get checked out.
I'm not a doctor, but when I was pregnant I went through the same thing right around the same time. Those cramps are actually contractions. That's your bodies way of preparing for the birth.
It's common to have contractions like Braxton Hicks when it gets closer. If it doesn't go away go to the doctor.
you can have contractions when the lining of your womb is thick and your body is trying to push this out, you need to see a doctor i have polycystic ovary syndrome that causes this to happen. i have this contractions just before my period and for the first few days getting worse . i have been given mefenamic acid tablets which are fantastic but if you are trying for children i would not take these, explain to your doctor your symptoms this is not uncommon. hope this helps Gemma xx
No, you shouldn't. Speak to your doctor or midwife about it
No. It is more likely just to give you vomiting and diarrhea, which you really don't want during labour! It is a myth that castor oil brings on labour and is strongly advised against by doctors and midwives. Besides that, it tastes horrible
