An eating (and self image) disorder characterized by self-starvation is called, "Anorexia". A person who has anorexia is correctly said to be, "Anoretic', or more commonly, "Anorexic".
In operant conditioning, anorexia can develop if an individual restricts food intake in response to perceived rewards like weight loss or positive reinforcement. In classical conditioning, anorexia may develop when certain foods or situations become associated with negative emotions or body image issues, leading to avoidance of those stimuli. Over time, these conditioned responses can contribute to the development and maintenance of anorexia.
Anorexia can be prevented a few ways. Some are... *Keeping a high self-esteem and self body image *Not teasing or making fun of others about image, weight, bodies, ect. *Ignoring those who say negative things about you *Live a healthy lifestyle, eat right, exercise well *Get someone help if you think they are developing an eating disorder. It is always best to stop it before it can get any worse.

Anorexia is a mental illness caused by the distortion of one's body image. It can be considered a neurological disease since it can be hereditary. It is also caused by external influence of body image and beauty concept as well as a coping mechanism towards a trauma.
False, magnification is negative, which means v/u is negative as well, assuming u is always positive, it means v is negative, which means the image is virtual.add In any event, an image is not REAL - it is just an image. It may become a replica when it is recorded permanently on film etc. And of course it may be erect or inverted or reversed, or indeed a negative, but none of these are REAL.
There are many causes or factors that lead to anorexia. Some common ones are... Depression Low self-esteem Low self-image Victim of bullying or teasing Social pressures Pressures from friends or family Perfectionism OCD BDD (Body Dismorphic Disorder) Diets gone too far Families members who also suffer from the disease Friends who also suffer from the disease Poor actions by role models
