Among other things, I just had this done to my CR-V for its 90,000 mile checkup. Bring it back and tell them your problem. The system probably needs to be re-bled. to make sure that ALL air is removed.

Take it back to the shop and tell them of your symptom. It is possible that they may not have fully bled the air out of the brake system when they pumped in the new fluid.

Why do the brakes lock up on a 1994 ford Crown Victoria?

Lets say you do not have ABS. If that is the case, is it the front or the back brakes. If it is the back brakes, then it is possible that the brake springs have to be changed, that is of course if you have drum brakes. If you have 4 wheel disk, then its another problem, possible the brake equilizer valve has to be replaced.

Brake Pedal goes to floor after changing brakes on 2003 Saturn L200 and bleeding brakes throughly. What could be problem Car is mint too new to be master cylinder 30K miles.?

Not really an answer, but another question... did you bleed the brakes after you changed them? I remember that is a critical step, NOT to be missed when working on the brakes. Hope this helps.

What could cause your brakes to go out quickly?

I know on Jeeps they use a soft rotor supposedly to quiet the brakes. The average mileage for their rotors is supposed to be around 13,000. I changed my rotors and have not had this problem since and I'm going on 30,000.

Your brakes are making a grinding sound when you apply the brakes on a vauxhall zafira?

The grinding sound means that the brake pads are worn down to metal and that sound you hear is metal to metal. you need to have the pads changed, the problem is that you will more than likely have to change the rotors also. The way to avoid this in the future is when you notice your brakes are making a squealing sound that means that the pads will need to be changed soon.

What is wrong if the rear brakes do not seem to be catching on a 1998 Nissan 240SX after having the brakes changed?

Usually after brakes are changed, it takes time for it to break in. So the brakes wont be as "grippy" as before. If that does not solve your problem, then it might be because of air bubbles in the brake lines. Try bleeding the system. If that doesn't solve your problem, then it could be a problem with your calipers. You can fix it, but most people just get another one from the junk yard. Takes less time and it's cheap too. I was going to say it could be the master cylinder, but it wouldn't be. Because 240sx has a diagonal braking system. Which means if one cylinder fails then you would still have brakes in front right and rear left OR vice versa.

Why does the antilock brake system light on a 1997 Nissan Pathfinder stay on?

The Antilock Brake System or ABS light stays on in a 1997 Nissan Pathfinder because there is a problem with the brakes. The brakes are either low on fluid or they need to be changed or adjusted.
