First your brick wall will probably be alright soon if you stop using the water directly from your well. If you can't waitor if it does not go away ask your chemist. Before using the well-water for irrigation, you should fell out the iron. The cheap way is to pump well-water to a tank, pool, barrel or trough of a kind, aerate it well with a compressor or whatever, to oxidise the iron. stop aeration when all iron has felled out. let the iron settle and then pump and filter it. Or you run it through a fluidized sand-flter. Fluidized sand-ilters are easy to make and not very expensive to buy. But if you want a fully automatic pressurized system , you are a lot poorer before you have paid for all the pumps and valves and installation costs. If you do not mind messing with chemicals, you can ask your chemist what kind of chemical solutions he can sell you. They are efficient and easy to use, but expensive in the long run and not so nice when you think of it.

Why is there an upward force an objects in a fluid?

Because an object has to displace an equivalent volume to be able to sink. Say you dropped a brick into a bucket of water, brick and water cannot occupy the same space at the same time so for the brick to sink it has to "displace" or move a volume of water equal to the size of the brick. That's why when you get in the bath the water level rises - you have displaced a volume of water equal to the size of your body.
