Losing 30 lbs will probably take a few weeks or longer depending on how hard you try and what kind of body you have (weight loss is easer for some then others). I know its not fare but its life and unless science figures how to fix it (probably no times soon) get tough and deal with it! You can go to one of those expensive weight loss clinics if you have the money but if you take my advice here you won't need to. Beware of anyone or any add telling you that you can lose tons of weight fast and easy. If you believe that I have a nice tropical island in Lake Superior I would like to sell you!

The best way to lose weight is to eat less, and what you eat should be more nutritious foods like salads. Stop eating junk food and fast food all together, they are addictive and once you start you gradually end up eating more and more of them like a drug! If you can force yourself to change your diet, after awhile it becomes easer and you don't crave junk food much anymore. You have to get the idea in your head from the start the new diet is permanent, not temporary or else the weight will come back on!

You also need to exercise more. Start out by walking each day and gradually increase it and get a book on home exercise. It is even better to sign up at a gym and start a regular exercise program. It takes a lot of will power to do it at home by yourself and most people don't stick with it. You should make exercise a routine three times per week. Consider it something you 'have' to do so you don't get lazy and quit. Its best to do it with others so you can prod each other to come to the gym. Most gyms and health clubs have people who can give you advice on how to train and if not the people who go there regularly know a lot as well and most are happy to give advice if you ask.

run until you sweat so bad that you just want to quit, and then run that exact same distance again. (after a short break, of course.)
