You should check the belt and the belt tension. You should check the belt and the belt tension. **answer** your whole ac system is about to go and stop the engine it happened to me after hearing that sound i let it go for about month or so and my engine stopped two tow trucks a 1300 estimate so i got a friendly mechanic to do the job for 750 dollars and he did it in the winter and didn't add enough freon. but it works good but i came to wiki to find out where to put the freon.
