on startup press command (apple key) and tap s repeatedly after boot to enter single user mode
then type the following when you see [enter] press return or enter depending on your keyboard
/sbin/fsck -y [Enter]
/sbin/mount -uw / [Enter]
sh /etc/rc[Enter]
type passwd[username]
username is the new name you will have to retype this twice
then type
reboot[enter]
note: that depending on your version of OSX the variables in the code may vary
if it doesnt work right of hand replace "sbin" with "sudo" and try that otherwise Google "command s mac hacks yourversionofOSX and look around a bit someone has the code
for anyone worried this doesnt damage your computer infact it does nothing other than create an administrator account its almost identical to the windows (netuser * username) command other than the fact it creates a new account rather than simply changing the password oh by the way this can be done in a very small amount of time it should only take a minute to do depending on your typing skills it just proves how vulnerable macs are if someone has direct access to your computer JUS SAYIN
