Flush the lock with a lubricant. Use the handle of the broken key as a guide. Find a thin wire and stiff it along the sides of the broken key part. Hold the wire in place and remove the part.

Begin by removing the retaining ring at the top of your 1986 Toyota pickup truck ignition switch. The ignition switch will slide out. Remove the wiring harness from the back of the ignition switch.

Most likely the ignition cylinder where you put your key before to start your car is broken. You have to remove it and test wires in different positions of the key.
You need to specify which parts of the ignition system you intend to remove. You can remove ignition from your vehicle entirely by removing the ignition coil wire from the distributor but I don't think that's the answer your looking for.
I have the same question. Has anyone in the Celica community ever removed these before? I've searched high and low and have not found any help...
