Your lap top keyboard is stuck in the Fn mode eg key K outputs 2 not k so how do you switch it back to normal keyboard mode?

Okay, look for a button that says "Fn lock" It will most likely be printed off-color (like all the other Fn keys) This works just like capslock does for capital letters. Pressing Fn & Fn-lock simultaneously should unlock the Fn mode.
Another way with laptop key boards is to press the numberlock key . This seems to switch off nos. appearing for letters
