00 Neon 4cy Why an initial quick hesitation from standing idle but then runs fine after putting in new plugs oil and filter air filter plug wires sprayed throttle cleaner and used injector cleaner?

Answering my own question. Repleace with original Champion RC9YC plugs, do not upgrade to platimum. Car immediately ran great and initial hesitation was "gone".

Pouring the injector cleaner down the throttle body won't clean the injectors. You need to add the injector cleaner to the fuel tank for it to help you. Read the instructions on the container of injector cleaner.

You completely waste the injector cleaner. It has to flow through the ports which supply fuel to the engine to do its job. That's why the directions tell you to put it into the gas tank in a certain ratio to gas. It mixes with the fuel in the tank, flows through the system and out of the injector ports.

more than likely your throttle body butterfly valves is sticking. you can clean it with throtle body cleaner but you must remove any sensors from throttle body first.

Modern fuels have a fuel injector injector cleaner built into them. However I do recommend you use a good fuel injector cleaner such as Seafoam or Chevron Techron once a year.

Spray the throttle body (carb) with cleaner, not carb cleaner. You should use throttle body cleaner because there is a coating on the throttle body that will be removed if you use carb cleaner and that coating that comes from the factory should not be removed.

If the injector wires are not broken where the air cleaner sets on top of the Throttle body, then I would replace the ignition module that's in the distributor underneith the dist. cap.

A good alternative to Throttle Body Cleaner is any other type of carb cleaner. One that seems to work very well is called GUMOUT Carb/Choke Cleaner.

No, it has a throttle body. The throttle unit resembles a carburetor except that there is no fuel bowl, float or metering jets. The fuel is sprayed directly into the throttle bore by an injector. It's actually fuel injection, except the fuel is injected in the module beneath the air cleaner as opposed to each individual cylinder.

No its just to clean your injectors the fuel injector cleaner will just go right through the filter it wont do anything to filter.

If you take the air cleaner top off and look down into the THROTTLE BODY you will see 2 injectors in the center of it with 4 electric wires hooked to them.

Doesn't a 94 Buick have Throttle Body Injection? Try running injector cleaner through the fuel system first. As always, follow the manufacturers recomendations.

Put a can of fuel injector cleaner into the gas tank and run it through the system along with your regular fuel fill-ups for a few tanks.

The 91 Caprice is throttle body injected and has 2 fuel injectors mounted above a Rochester throttle body. The easiest way to check for an injector that is not working correctly is to remove the air cleaner assembly, start the car and visually inspect the base of the injectors for a smooth consistent spray pattern. If the pattern is absent or intermittent on both injectors it may indicate a problem elsewhere, the ECM or a maybe a wiring issue or sensor. If it is a single injector that is acting up it could be the injector or a wiring problem to that injector which could be tested with a multimeter.
