190E 1991 impossible to start.will crank over and spark at plug.garage changed aux air device.it does starts in a fashion but slowly any ideasplugsrotor and cap changedfuel filter also?

I am having somewhat of the same problem. My 190E just stoped running with little reason why. I have called a garage and they said it could be fuel relay I have not changed it yet I am going to try a couple of other things ie timing, fuel filter, only because the relay is about 100 dollars. This isn't much, but maybe it will lead you to think in the right direction.

Answer Cont.If it isn't the fuel relay this is what I would check: cold start injector, the main fuel injectors, plug wires, and fuel pump

i have a 1993 which from what i hear is the same as the 1991, what my problem was, was when i went to start it, it was as if the battery was dead, it would start but very slowly, and after a couple revolutions, so i checked the alternator and it was not recharging the batter, i took it to a garage and 90$ later it runs fine
