There's probably no problem with the starter. The solenoid sounds like the problem. It is the little round thing with the wires hooked to it forward of the starter on your model. Don't forget to disconnect the battery before removing it and remember which posts the wires are on.
Remove the skid plate off the bottom of machine . Take a standard test light , hook the clip to a good ground and touch the probe to the post on the starter . Push the start button and the light should light . If the light works and lights but the starter doesnt work take a small hammer and tap the starter while holding the start button . If the starter workes then the brushes are shot on the starter and need replaced .If the light does not light on tester go to the battery and follow the leads to the starter solonoid . One side of the solonoid should light up without pushing start button , the other side will light up when the button is pushed.
usually you can tell when your car doesnt turn or or doesnt turn over its because of your starter sometimes its not the starter it could be a low battery or corroded wires leading to the starter check that first;
Press a button. If it is not charged it won't turn on.
Just press the enter button.
Nah doesnt exist
that doesnt make sense
a 99 ford probe doesnt exist
The enter key...... Come on who doesnt know that!
He doesnt pick a starter in Isshu he actually catches all of them
It may be on hold, If not, reset it
well i dont know exactly where the starter is but you should be able to see it under the car around where the tranny bellhousing meets the engine at the fly wheel(auto) or flex plate(manual) either on the left or right side. if the car is not turning over at all then you can put a jumper from the battery to the starter solenoid and that should kick the starter on if it doesnt then you starter/solenoid is bad. but if you car turns over but doesnt start then your starter is fine.
There are two ways to start a 98 Trailblazer. One way that you can is if you have a battery in your atv and the starter doesnt need to be replaced, you turn on the key then make sure the run switch is on and then press and hold the starter button on the left side of the handle bar or if your starter is out like on mine, you will have to use the pul start on the right side of the atv and if you have the airfilter on and have gas and oil in it, it will start with one pull.
