I got this vehicle from a friend and the thermostat wasnt put in quite right so we pulled over and fixed it. However the car didnt start after that. I then found that the error code six was blinking, could this part make the car completely out of running order? And yes error code 6 is all that came up.
The fuel pump access panel on the 1988 Honda Civic wagon is under the driver-side rear seat. Simply pull up the bottom cushion and you will see the panel with three Phillips head screws. However, all it accesses is the end connector. The fuel tank must be removed to access the fuel pump itself.
