first of all before you cut any wires or plugs....aftermarket alternators are just to push more current to your battery. it should hook up the same unless u have the wrong alternator for your car...also if there is an extra wire try running it to your distributer cap but only if ur running an aftermarket cap as well preferably and msd power cap...the only real use for a better alternator is if u want to do competition level sound or racething with msd ignitions wires.. etc but other then that u shouldn't need one.
Disconnect the negative - terminal first, then the positive + terminal. Unfasten the battery hold down clamp. When reinstalling the terminal connections connect the positive terminal first.

Server load balancing is almost always the hosts responsibility. Even in the case of terminal severs, the host should ensure proper connections to the server.
We generally connect the red wire to the positiveterminal of a battery. The black is connected to the negative terminal. Naturally, no wiring connections should be attempted until a thorough understanding of the circuit being worked on has been made.
There are several connections that one could have from a terminal to a mainframe. The easiest to implement on modern hardware is a simple null modem connection. You would need a null modem and a terminal program (HyperTerminal or PuTTy would work fine). You would initiate a connection to the mainframe, and the mainframe would respond with a login prompt. After logging in, you would have access to the command shell. Most connections worked similar to the above, but some may have had proprietary connectors and / or special controller cards necessary for a terminal to connect.
Their is a free transit service called 'Air Train' which operates between terminals. Terminal 7 is directly adjacent to terminal 8 and the one stop ride on Air Train should take approximately 90 seconds. It's one of the easiest connections in the scheme of JFK transits.
