Check the stop light switch for alignment or perhaps defect
Turn the lights on then disconnect the battery. This well keep the lights in the up position.
You disconnect your battery and then reconnect your battery again.
there is no button of switch you have to disconnect the negative battery terminal
Just disconnect a battery cable for a couple of minutes.
Disconnect the negative terminal to the battery and reattach - that resets the monitor lights.
Same problem recently with my 1998 Audi Avant wagon . Anyone with suggestions on how to disable or correct lit radio buttons ??
What will happen is the car will not start nor will the electrical lights, radio ect. Unless your doing electrical work on the car don't dissconect the battery
To replace dash lights on a Mazda B 3000 first disconnect the battery and remove the dashboard. Unplug the cluster wiring and carefully remove the display. Replace the lights.
You can use a code error reader (diagnostic tool) to reset service lights. Or you can disconnect the battery for 5 minutes it will do the job. If it didn't work, disconnect the battery for longer. PS. Don't forget to connect the battery back before you check the codes.
Replace the headlight switch that turns on the lights and parking lights, it's a whole unit that has the slider dimmer switch in it. Be sure to disconnect the negative battery cable first. Cheap at a salvage yard.
Disconnect battery and wait about 3 minutes then reconnect and any error lights should be reset
disconnect the battery with the lights on and then press the horn for 5 seconds. This will erase the codes in the chip. Then reconnect the battery and the service light should be off.
