you need a new ignition control module
O2 sensor(s) needs replaced.
What is the computer telling you? Read the computer diagnostic code and you'll get a reasonably accurate idea of what's wrong.
A throttle body can be cleaned without removal. Several spray cleaners for throttle bodies are available at your local auto parts.
The 95 models did not have the spider on them. It was a TBI / Throttle body injection system. If your engine is a vortec, Then no it can't be cleaned.
In my 2004 Pontiac GTO, I had that problem. I took it to the dealer and they cleaned out the ignition with some lock cleaner that you can purchase at home depot and they also cleaned the key .

This is probably a dirty throttle body. It should be removed and cleaned.

There is no set time. It would be cleaned when needed and some may never need it.
did you reset the E.C.M.(computer)after you replaced parts and cleaned?take off negative battery terminal for a couple of minutes,then reconnect.that should reset the computer and clear any old codes.
There is a sensor in the tube going from the air filter to the throttle that may need to be cleaned or replaced. It sticks down into the air path, has a couple of wires going to it. It's job is to tell the computer how much to open the throttle to allow you car to idle smoothly. Good luck.
