There is no idle ajustment on a TBI, It is precailbrated and sealed from the factory DO NOT FULL WITH IT AT ALL..... You have another problem like a vaccum leak under the throttle body, are some where.
check for vaccum leaks.
was driving down the road in my 1989 chev truck 1500 and heard a noise of some kind from my rear-end and then the rear wheels would not spin
It is mounted vertically (straight up and down) on the passenger side of the truck in front of the front end cross beam.
idles at 3000 will not go down 1993 grand prix gtp
looking down from (ONTOP) of the engine they are behind the water pump
My grandson says, "because it broke down". But to be more specific, check the shift-down linkage and/or the vacuum modulator (if your transmission has one).
Try blowing graphite down there.
I also wish someone would answer this question as my 1997 Ford contour does the same thing. It shakes and vibrates very bad when it idles and it idles really low. They set the idle up to make it so it wouldn't die so now when I start it it revs up really bad then it idles down then it idles down to low and shakes I also wish someone would answer this question as my 1997 Ford contour does the same thing. crankshaft sensor going.
It could be a dirty air filter or a dirty throttle body.
Yes, There are a couple selections of hybrid trucks to choose from. The Hybrid Trucks are heavier than the standard trucks and evry pricey. According to reviews the Hybrid truck only pays off in stop and go situations. If the Truck sits and idles or is running down a freeway, there is not much point in buying one.
Probably a bad idle air control valve.
