Drain the radiator and engine of fluid. This is the best time to chemically flush the engine of rust, scale etc. See flushing products from auto dept. at store. Drain flushing, then rinse out and drain again. Remove bolts holding fan cowl to radiator at top. Borrow or rent Ford fan clutch wrench (mine was 36mm.)and the tool to hold the belt pully from turning when loosening the fan clutch nut, CLOCKWISE.(REVERSE THREAD IN MANY MODELS). Remove fan with clutch and cowl. Loosen but don't remove bolts holding air compresser, alternator, and Power Steering pump tension adjusting brackets. Remove belts from pully on water pump. Loosen and back off hose clamps then pull hoses off pump. Remove bolts holding pump to engine. turning each a little at a time. making note of the positions and lengths for reassembly. carefully Remove pump without marring surface. Clean surface of old gasket material. Examine new pump to match to old one. Apply a tacky sealer to both mating surfaces. Apply new pump gasket then mount new pump to engine. Start bolts in pump. SLOWLY and EVENLY tighten Each bolt to specified torque. Check for free rotation of pump.
If it is mould all the bad has to go
leaking anti freezei also have a 1997 Avalon xls it has 191,400 miles on it,i also had radiator problems, had a hose blow out replaced that then radiator blew replaced radiator while ill replaced the bottom hose at that time also ,then i noticed it kept leaking from the hose ends,so i tightend the hell out of them then i reliazed the cap was bad replaced that i finaly came to relaize that there was to much pressure so drained a little fluid from it still seems to leak a little because i can smell it but i don't know where its leaking from and its not getting into the oil, somebody possibly said to much pressure and it could be the head gasket, but since draining it it seems to be ok
Check the radiator hoses. The coolant is either leaking out of the new radiator, or it is coming from a radiator hose. The water pump may be leaking. Hose clamps may be loose.
check and make sure that the hose clamps are tight mine was leaking at the bottom of the hose replaced heater core for nothing
if gas in leaking out of the over flow tube connected to bottom of carb, the needle and seat needs to be replaced. unless the float has been messed with and is bent.
if it is not making any noise,or leaking from bottom of pump. Releif hole is on bottom of pump,if leaking replace pump.

The mechanical seal probably needs to be replaced, or it may be the seal plate gasket. if it is the seal it will eventually ruin the pump motor if not replaced. Go to you tube for a how to videoPOOLCENTER.com - Hayward Pool Pump Impeller-Seal Replace 2
Depending where it is leaking, a toilet may need to be replaced entirely. If it is more than twenty years old, that may be a wise precaution. Leaking from the bottom may mean that you need to remove the toilet, replace the wax ring and bolt it back down. For a sink, it is all about the piping and fixtures, in most cases. I have had a cast iron sink leak, though.
Usually a leaking hose into or out of the water pump (depending on its location), or the water pump gasket.
It may be leaking at the drain plug located at the bottom of the pump housing. It may be leaking throught the gasket/o-ring that seal the pump cover to the pump housing. The seal may be installed incorrectly. There may be a crack in the pump housing/cover assembly. You may be able to observe water squirting fron the leak by watching the pump while it is running.
If it is missing it is probaly a coil pack
