If the truck is equipped with a V6 it will most likely have a timing belt. However if it has the 4 cylinder it will have a timing chain.

I have heard that the '61-'66 Ford F-Series will fit with slight modifications on F-series and Bronco chassis's up to 1992.
All timing gears. You have to disassemble the entire front of the truck and engine to access.
